Rich Russell | Experience Host

Rich Russell was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY, and got to Texas as quickly as he could. Following his dream to be a songwriter, he arrived at Kerrville Folk Festival turn of the century, made a bunch of friends, and started writing songs. He moved to Austin and started the Lonesome Heroes in 2004. They have played 1000+ shows across the country and Australia and have been a band for 20+ years. When he’s not playing a show, you can find him two stepping at a local honky tonk, roller skating, or paddling down a Texas River!
