Austin Street Art Tour Experience
Ever wanted to try your hand at graffiti, legally? Austin is becoming just as known for its street art as it is for its food or music. This event will take you all around the city checking out the most iconic murals as well as those you’d never find on your own. Learn about the artists, the inspiration and the neighborhoods they are made in. After you get some ideas, we’ll head to an east side studio so you can meet a real street artist and get guidance for you to create your own. This is where the competition begins. You will be given a certain amount of time to complete your own work of street art. Then, the street artist becomes your judge. They will be picking a winning team that they have found showed the most creativity, teamwork and technique in their work! Finally, we will turn your art into take home prints or upgrade to a keepsake coaster.
