Austin Wine Tour: Explore The Texas Hill Country

Let’s head for the hills! This road trip takes you out of Austin and into our beloved Hill Country for amazing food and wine. Texas has long been famous for its amazing BBQ and has quickly become a top destination for wine lovers as well! Texas Hill Country is the third largest wine-growing region in the United States covering more than 9 million acres. Our first stop will be  Salt Lick, one of the most famous BBQ pits in the Lone Star State, where you can savor fall-off-the-bone brisket, sausage, turkey, and out-of-this-world sides. Then we will wind through the hills, stopping at two different award-winning Texas wineries along the way. This is the quintessential Hill Country tour!
